Having been tasked with producing this high profile event, our friends at Eleven 11 turned to us for full technical support to include video, lighting, sound, camera systems, set and stage.
As the venue space is a large warehouse usually used for weekly markets, the first job was to create several separate spaces to include reception & hospitality areas, main conference auditorium, green room and press rooms.
The campaign’s minimalist and bold branding style lead the way for the event and working with Eleven 11, we designed a simple yet effective stage set to deliver the message with use of branded set panels, coloured lighting washes and video. Our set department also built large branded message boards in the reception area and outside the main conference space delivering the “Stronger In” message in various configurations.
The set back wall housed two of our new Sharp 90” LED displays presenting the opening film, supported by four 60” Panasonic repeater screens. Also in the main conference room we supplied a comprehensive lighting rig consisting of LED fixtures and profiles for stage lighting along with a D&B distributed PA system, Sennheiser radio microphone systems and Yamaha control plus split audio feeds for broadcast. We provided a twin camera system with two Sony HXC 100 cameras along with our Blue-Pro Production Unit and full Hyperdeck recording. Another smaller PA system was provided for the press area with table-top microphones for the panel and radio handhelds for Q&A.
The event generated significant media interest, with coverage and interviews on major networks and in newspapers.
