The Piano Guys

In June this year The Piano Guys performed their biggest show to date in the UK

With a historical relationship with The Piano Guys when performing in the UK, we were delighted to supply video services for their largest show of the 2017 tour at the Royal Albert Hall.

Raymond Gubbay approached us with the challenge of providing a screen configuration in the venue to give a sold out audience a clear view of both content and IMAG camera, at every seat in the house.

After an initial site visit we designed a three screen layout with a 7m X 4m central screen and an angled 3m X 4m screen on each side, all built in our 3.9mm high resolution LED.

We positioned three discrete remote head HD cameras on stage to give unique views of the musicians and mounted a fourth on an overhead lighting truss to give a view of the top of the grand piano with its lid removed.

Our Barco E2 systems gave us the processing power to create a bespoke canvas for each of the three screens, showing a mixture of video content, graphics and live camera on each along with chroma key lyrics over IMAG for a guest appearance from Sir Cliff Richard.
