Congratulations to Damon and the DFA team on an incredibly successful event!

25 years is a real milestone for a successful business and when the ADI Group were approaching their 25th anniversary they looked to Damon Fowler and the team at DFA Productions http://www.dfaproductions.co.uk to produce a spectacular event to celebrate in style.

DFA tasked Blue-i with providing full turnkey AV systems for the event to include video, sound, lighting and also set design and manufacture. We were of course delighted to oblige. The event took place at the Motorcycle Museum and grounds with presentations and entertainment in the main space during the day and a gala dinner in the evening.

Video – We provided three screen projection using our Panasonic 10,000 lumens projectors along with back up units flown in tandem. Content on each of the screens was controlled via Encore crate processing and two custom Blue-Pro media hubs. Our Blue-Pro HD multi-camera PPU handled the live content for each screen and switching from split live camera, VTs and graphics.

Lighting – We rigged a 40m truss close to the downstage edge and a catwalk truss with various fixtures including moving heads, LED Sharpies and three lazers. Control was via one of our Avolites Pearl lighting consoles.

Audio – Due to the width-ways orientation and size of the stage we designed a dispersed audio system comprising of D&B Q series speaker cabinets and E8s. Countryman headset microphones on sennheiser radio body packs were used for the presenters along with a lectern microphone kit and audio control was via one of our Yamaha LS9 digital consoles.

Set – The set and stage was designed in house in conjunction with DFA and manufactured in our recently acquired dedicated premises. The structure of the stage was constructed to house a pole at one end for two pole dancers during the show and loadings were tested prior to the show to ensure the weight and movement of the dancers was accommodated securely.

The pole has now found a new home in the Blue-i common room……

Congratulations to Damon and the DFA team on an incredibly successful event!
